FOR APPLICANTS

Make the request easy to say yes to.

Give a busy recommender the right facts, files, reminders, and deadline in one place.

01

Choose the destination

Select the college, graduate program, scholarship, job, promotion, clinical program, or other opportunity. The Studio adapts its prompts and policy mode.

02

Upload once and verify

Add a résumé, CV, statement, accomplishment sheet, or transcript notes. Review the extracted facts before anything is shared.

03

Add the context only you know

Explain the relationship, deadline, goals, and moments your recommender may remember without drafting the confidential evaluation for them.

04

Send the packet securely

Email the recommender a private portal link with the organized packet and uploaded documents, then track whether it was opened, drafted, or completed.

FOR RECOMMENDERS

Start with evidence—not a blank page.

Move from organized materials and rough observations to a personal letter you fully control.

01

Review the applicant packet

See the destination, deadline, documents, accomplishments, and applicant-reported context in one organized workspace.

02

Add firsthand observations

Type quick bullets or dictate the moments, actions, and results you personally observed. Applicant facts remain clearly separate from writer evidence.

03

Draft under the right policy

Use drafting, editing, or organize-only assistance according to the selected destination and your institution’s rules. You verify every claim.

04

Format, export, and submit

Apply an appropriate header, review the full letter, export Word or PDF, and submit it yourself through the destination’s official process.

START FROM EITHER SIDE

The writer can request the packet, too.

If a recommender begins first, they can send the applicant a secure intake request. The applicant adds their profile and documents directly to that writer’s workspace. If the applicant begins first, they send the completed packet and portal access to the recommender. Both routes lead to the same private handoff.

THE APPLICANT CAN
  • Organize background and supporting documents
  • Send or respond to a secure packet request
  • See whether the invitation was sent, opened, or completed
ONLY THE WRITER CAN
  • Add confidential observations and assessments
  • Review and revise the private recommendation
  • Control the final wording, export, and submission
