EASIER TO REQUEST. FASTER TO WRITE. PERSONAL TO THE APPLICANT.

From an awkward ask
to a letter they deserve.

01

Ask with confidence

Send a thoughtful request, deadline, goals, and supporting documents together. Your writer receives a clear packet instead of another task they must organize.

02

Skip the blank page

Applicant information is extracted and organized automatically. The writer adds quick bullets or dictates a story, then uses AI to outline, expand, and strengthen the letter.

03

Send a letter that feels true

The writer verifies every claim, preserves their own voice, and controls the final Word or PDF. The result is faster without becoming generic.

WHEN “YES” IS NOT THE RIGHT ANSWER

Protect the applicant with an honest, graceful response.

If you cannot write a strong recommendation—or cannot give it the time it deserves—LOR Writer provides thoughtful templates to decline promptly and point the applicant toward a better advocate.

CONFIDENTIAL BY DESIGN

The applicant prepares the packet—not the final letter.

This is collaboration without compromised confidentiality. Private notes, AI drafts, edits and the final recommendation remain inside the recommender’s workspace. Applicants see only whether an invitation was sent, opened or completed.

LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION FAQ

Human judgment stays in charge.

What is LOR Writer?

LOR Writer is a private recommendation-letter workspace. Applicants organize supporting evidence and deadlines; teachers, professors, clinicians, supervisors, and mentors use their own firsthand observations to create and export the final letter.

Can AI help write a letter of recommendation?

When the destination permits it, AI can organize supplied facts, develop rough bullets, and prepare a first draft for the writer to verify and revise. Policy modes can also limit the tool to editing or evidence organization only.

Does the applicant see the final recommendation?

No. The applicant can prepare and send a packet, but the recommender’s private notes, draft, edits, and final letter stay confidential inside the writer portal.

Who can use LOR Writer?

It adapts to academic, clinical, research, employment, internship, scholarship, residency, college, graduate, law, medical, and other professional recommendation destinations.

Does LOR Writer replace the recommender’s judgment?

No. The recommender must verify every claim, add the firsthand evidence only they can provide, control every sentence, and submit the final letter themselves.
